IMCO Slate Products

IMCO is a primary supplier of processed slate products to the asphalt sealcoat industry throughout the Western US. IMCO slate is mined and processed to provide the end user with a with product that delivers consistent and reliable results. It is available in two mesh sizes, 20 mesh and 60 mesh, and can be delivered in bulk or super sacks.

IMCO #20 Slate

 

  • Available in bulk and super sacks.
  • Milled on a Raymond Roller Mill for consistent particle size.
  • Flash dried for low moisture year-round.
  • Ore reserves in excess of a million tons.
  • Shipment via flatbed or pneumatic from Sacramento, CA.
  • Can be combined with other IMCO products for truckload savings.

  • Specific gravity = 2.7
  • Mohs hardness = 6.5
  • Compression greater than 11,000 psi
  • Loss on ignition at 10000 C = 5%
